Meditation is the practice of quieting the mind. There are several steps before reaching a state of uninterrupted flow of concentration (dhyana). Still using the principles of Precision Alignment Yoga, you will learn how delve deeper into your “powers of concentration”. This class will focus on providing you with tools and insight on how to bring your awareness inward (pratyahara), shift to a practice of one-pointed attention (dharana), and eventually (with much practice) reach a state of being keenly aware without focus; a quiet mind, producing few or no thoughts at all; ultimate stillness.
